Astrid Melissa Edwarda Horn Weitzberg, (born 8 April 1987), is a Swedish pop musician. She is the daughter of singer Maritza Horn.
Horn sings in Swedish. The debut album "Långa nätter" was released on 30 April 2008. The album opened up to a large audience that has taken on Melissa's voice and heartfelt lyrics. It is particularly noticeable at Spotify where she has become one of Sony Sweden's most played artists.
In the duet "Som jag hade dig förut" Lars Winnerbäck is a guest player. Melissa has been opened for Peter LeMarc 2007th 14 October 2009 released the second album “Säg ingenting till mig” who gave her a large audience, Grammy nominations and sold gold.
Melissa Horn's success story is one that takes place in silence. Although she is not exposed in the media to any great extent, her winter tour a success, including several sold-out concerts in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. She has also received a well deserved recognition with nominations for both Rockbjörnen and Grammy.
The latest album "Säg ingenting till mig" is produced by Ola Gustafsson, and recorded in the legendary Atlantis studio. Ola Gustafsson said this about Melissa Horn and the musical work:
